Overview: Non-profit organization celebration including donation drop off for Sandy. (Help needed: If you have a car and would like to help distribute the goods donated, email us!)

Join The Women Worldwide Initiative for an evening of community, food, drinks and phenomenal performances as we honor one year of successful community development programs for women and girls, while providing a donation drop box to aid in the disaster relief efforts for those affected by Sandy!

Spearheaded by the mentors and mentees in our Young Women Rock! program, we will be collecting donations at the event for those affected by the hurricane. The mentors are working closely with the mentees to teach them how to organize grassroots efforts, thereby empowering them to be actively involved in effecting change.

Suggested items for donation: flashlights, batteries, socks, blankets (packaged), winter coats, bottled water, non-perishable food items.

Admission is free/suggested donation. For those that have already purchased tickets, we greatly appreciate your support of our programs, and you will receive a specialty gift bag.

We hope you can join us! If you are unable to attend due to a scheduling conflict, please consider inviting a friend in your place or donating to support the Sandy relief effort of the girls in our Young Women Rock! Leadership Program.
